FRESH MUSHROOM MEDLEY

1 pound of oyster mix (an exciting mix of several species of oyster mushrooms) and 1 pound of Farmer’s Choice (chestnut, nameko, pioppino, lion’s mane, bear’s tooth, tiger’s eye, cinnamon cap, royal trumpet, beech, and new to our farm this year- RadX).

Our mushrooms are certified organic by PCO, we strive to bring the highest quality and most diversity of mushrooms to our regional market.

Pickup at the farm only!

Pickup is for prepaid, pre-orders ONLY.

We offer fresh mushrooms for pick up at the farm on Wednesdays, from 4pm - 7pm, and Saturdays from 10am - 1pm. Additionally, we are taking extra precautions at the farm to ensure the health of our employees and community. At this time, we are only accepting online orders.

How to pick up your mushrooms

You will receive an email to confirm pick up times for your order with instructions for pick up in addition to the automated order confirmation. Please do not come to the farm until you have gotten this email.

Pick up between the hours of 4pm - 7pm on Wednesday or 10am - 1pm on Saturday

If you are ordering other items from the website, they will also be available for pick up.

What can you do with all those mushrooms?

Not used to purchasing so many fresh mushrooms? There are many ways to preserve mushrooms for future use. Drying mushrooms works well and even better if you can dry the mushrooms in the sunlight with their gills to the sun. 4-6 hours of sunlight will convert ergosterol in the cell walls to Vitamin D, and there will be less water to extract with your electric dehydrator. Cooking and freezing portions of mushrooms for later use also works well. Or, you can leave the mushrooms in a paper bag in the refrigerator; they will dehydrate a bit and you can rehydrate them with water, stock, or wine. This is a great time to ramp up with nourishing foods.
