Mark Jones
Mark Jones is a mushroom scientist and owner of Sharondale Farm. He grows mushrooms indoors and outdoors, collects useful native mushroom strains, makes spawn, and offers workshops about mushroom culture and cultivation.
Mark grows a productive perennial food forest which includes mushrooms, fruits, berries, herbs, and willows, and develops methods for small farms to diversify with fungi.
Tradd Cotter
Tradd Cotter is the owner of Mushroom Mountain and author of the recently published Organic Mushroom Farming and Mycoremediation: Simple to Advanced Techniques for Indoor and Outdoor Cultivation. Tradd is a microbiologist, professional mycologist, and organic gardener, who has been tissue culturing, collecting native fungi in the Southeast, and cultivating both commercially and experimentally for more than twenty-two years. In 1996, he founded Mushroom Mountain, which he owns and operates with his wife, Olga, to explore applications for mushrooms in various industries and currently maintains over 200 species of fungi for food production, mycoremediation of environmental pollutants, and natural alternatives to chemical pesticides.
Robert Dale Rogers
Robert Dale Rogers has been an herbalist for over forty years. He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, where he is an assistant clinical professor in Family Medicine. He teaches plant medicine, including herbology, aromatherapy and flower essences in the Earth Spirit Medicine Program at the Northern Star College in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Robert is past chair of the Alberta Natural Health Agricultural Network and Community Health Council of Capital Health. He is a Fellow of the International College of Nutrition, past-chair of the medicinal mushroom committee of the North American Mycological Association and on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms, and Discovery Phytomedicine. He occasionally writes for the Journal of the American Herbalist Guild and Fungi magazine.
Robert has authored over forty books on the healing properties of plants, animals and fungi of the boreal forest. He is the author of The Fungal Pharmacy: The Complete Guide to Medicinal Mushrooms and Lichens of North America. His latest book Mushroom Essences: Vibrational Healing from Kingdom Fungi will be released on July 19, 2016.
