Growing and Marketing Mushrooms

Learn low-tech methods for outdoor cultivation of mushrooms to diversify your small farm or garden. Hands-on activities will include: spawn expansion, log inoculations, and oyster mushrooms on pasteurized straw. Discussions will include: biology, ecology, cultivation, harvesting, post-harvest handling, value-added products, and marketing of mushrooms.
